Robotic Case Palletizing & Depalletizing

We specialize in end-of-line robotic palletizing machines for cases, trays, bags, containers and more. Eliminate the risk of using manual labor and automate your manual pallet loading and unloading processes. We can deliver robotic palletizing engineered to the specific needs of your application, floor plan and budget.

A robotic palletizing machine is a device that uses a robotic arm to stack and arrange items on a pallet. The machine can handle different types of items, such as boxes, bags, cans, bottles, or crates.

The machine consists of four main components: a robotic arm, a gripper, a conveyor, and a control system. The robotic arm is the part that moves and rotates to pick up and place the items. The gripper is the part that attaches to the end of the arm and grasps the items with suction cups, clamps, or magnets. The conveyor is the part that transports the items to and from the palletizing area. The control system is the part that coordinates the movements and actions of the machine based on a predefined program or a manual input.

The palletizing process involves the following steps:

– The items are loaded onto the conveyor by a feeder or a human operator.

– The conveyor moves the items to the palletizing area, where a sensor detects their presence and size.

– The control system calculates the optimal position and orientation of the item on the pallet based on the pallet pattern and the item shape.

– The robotic arm moves and rotates to align the gripper with the item and activates the gripper to pick up the item.

– The robotic arm moves and rotates to place the item on the pallet according to the calculated position and orientation and releases the gripper to drop the item.

– The robotic arm returns to the palletizing area and repeats the steps until the pallet is full or the items are depleted.

– The pallet is moved away by a forklift or another conveyor and a new pallet is brought in.
